LOLA's and Morgan Stanley raised a huge sum of money for Great Ormond Street Hospital last Friday! They sold hundreds of delicious freshly baked cakes to hungry Morgan Stanley employees and sold out in 45 minutes. What a fabulous idea.

Bumpkin in Notting Hill and South Kensington have just launched their superb kid’s birthday party service “Bumpkin Birthdays”. Parents no longer need to dread the prospect of planning a young child's special day, and can stop worrying about marker pen ending up on living room walls or cup cakes down the side of sofas at home. The parties will be hosted in the spacious and child friendly private dining rooms every Friday and Saturday from 3-5pm at either location, where the kids and their chaperones can enjoy the celebration in a relaxed and memorable environment.

a very special birthday for mohamed al-fayed's nephew called for very special cupcakes. now, while we dont normally draw on cupcakes because they're baked and iced fresh every day - we just couldn't resist these! plus - the party was held at harrods, the latest home of lola's cupcakes.
