The big event in London this weekend is the Regent Street Festival. This year it’s a joint 10th birthday party with Absolute Radio and Madness are headlining.
Of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without a delicious birthday cake and Lola’s Kitchen is creating not one, but two spectacular cupcake towers for the occasion.
The birthday extravaganza kicks off at 12 noon on September 27th2009, running until 8pm. The birthdaycake towers will be handed out to party-goers at 3pm and will be made up of a mouth-watering two thousand gorgeously glittery cupcakes, each individually topped with lashings of Lola’s sumptuous signature icing.
Baking the cupcakes on the day will be no mean feat even for Lola’s specialist bakers. Each and every one of the two thousand bite-sized cupcakes will be handcrafted and fresh out of the oven on the day.
These sweet masterpieces will be created using plenty of quality ingredients, including 350 free range eggs, 150 kilograms of sumptuous light and fluffy melt in your mouth icing, 90 kilograms of the finest gourmet icing sugar, and almost 1,500 millilitres of the world’s most expensive Tahitian vanilla extract to get the flavours just right.
Lola’s Kitchen is a boutique bakery dedicated to hand-crafting the most luxurious, chic and delicious cupcakes in the whole of London town. Baked in small batches every morning by a team of cupcake boffins, Lola’s cupcakes contain only the finest quality natural ingredients lovingly blended to create their soft, fluffy signature sponge in a range of yummy flavours. Because they are baked and delivered daily, you can enjoy the ‘just-out-of-the-oven’ texture and savour the taste safe in the knowledge that Lola’s doesn’t use any preservatives or canned products.
