TV Quick Awards

We were asked to bake 400 cupcakes for this years TV Quick Awards.  See some of our favourite soap celebs leaving with their box of LOLA's (and devouring the cupcake on the way home)!

Each one is made to order by London cupcake firm Lola's and take about two hours to create by hand.

They are currently sold via the firm's website as well as being stocked in posh department stores Selfridges and Harrods.

Melissa Hobbs, 26, from Lola's, said the super cakes had been a huge hit.

She said: "The giant cupcake has already become one of our most popular items - it's gone down really well."

Sun girl Charlotte Martin yesterday tested the chocolate variety and loved it.

She said: "I was in heaven - but I couldn't eat a whole one!"

cupcake sale for great ormond street

LOLA's and Morgan Stanley raised a huge sum of money for Great Ormond Street Hospital last Friday!  They sold hundreds of delicious freshly baked cakes to hungry Morgan Stanley employees and sold out in 45 minutes.  What a fabulous idea.
